Application

ELECMAN® EMT conduit is used indoors and outdoors to protect enclosed electrical conductors from impact, moisture and chemical vapors. EMT is the lightest-weight steel conduit manufactured, and it still provides substantial physical protection and can be used in most exposed locations, except where severe physical damage is a possibility.

• The outside is galvanized for corrosion protection and the inside has an approved corrosion-resistant organic coating.
• EMT itself is not threaded, but can be used with threaded fittings and clamps to it.

ELECMAN® UL797 carbon steel electrical metallic tubing (EMT conduit) in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Electrical metallic tubing shall be carbon steel, electrically welded, galvanized and produced to the following specifications:

​ELECMAN ® UL797 carbon steel electrical metallic tubing (EMT) is listed to UL Safety Standard 797 and manufactured in accordance with ANSI C80.3. details shall accord with Table 1.

Raw Material

ELECMAN ® Electrical metallic tubing (EMT) is produced from Carbon structural steel (Q195).

Chemical Composition

Steel type and chemical composition (melting analysis) shall accord with Table 2.

Packing Information

EMT conduits are packed in bundles with woven bag, we also can put customers' sticker on pipes, on woven bag, we will put a big sticker with detailed information for customers to distinguish different sizes. for regular packing information, please check the Table 3.
