Applications

ELECMAN® UL1242 1 inch hot dipped galvanized IMC steel pipe pre-galvanized IMC tube is precision manufactured for economical protection and long lasting value for the electrical raceway system. Manufactured from premium, work hardened steel combining electrical and mechanical performance with ductility. IMC conduit is resistant to impact and is easy to cut, bend and join for smooth, continuous raceways. IMC conduit is as strong, lighter in weight, and less expensive than Rigid conduits.

ELECMAN ® UL1242 1 inch hot dipped galvanized IMC steel pipes shall be carbon steel, electrically welded, galvanized and produced to the following specifications:

• American National Standards Institute, Inc.-ANSI C80.6.
• Underwriters Laboratories Standard for Electrical Metallic Tubing.-UL1242.

ELECMAN ® UL1242 1 inch hot dipped galvanized IMC steel pipes are listed to UL Safety Standard 1242 and manufactured in accordance with ANSI C80.6. details shall accord with Table 1.

Raw Material

ELECMAN ® Intermediate Metal Conduit (IMC) is produced from Carbon structural steel (Q195).

Chemical Composition

Packing Information

IMC conduits are packed in bundles with woven bag, we also can put customers’ sticker on pipes, on woven bag, we will put a big sticker with detailed information for customers to distinguish different sizes. For regular packing information, please check the Table 2.
